EFEK TOOTHGRAFT TERHADAP JUMLAH OSTEOBLAS SOKET TIKUS PASCA PENCABUTAN

Latar Belakang: Bovine graft sebagai bahan pengganti tulang terkadang menimbulkan reaksi penolakan dari tubuh. Bahan tooth graft dari gigi yang diekstraksi memiliki kemiripan subtansi dengan tulang. Tujuan: Menganalisis efek implantasi tooth graft terhadap osteoblas dibandingkan dengan bovine graft pada soket alveolar tikus Wistar pasca pencabutan. Metode: Desain penelitian ini  adalah eksperimental laboratoris menggunakan 24 sampel yang dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok. Keempat kelompok dilakukan pencabutan gigi insisif pertama mandibula, pada 2 kelompok diaplikasikan tooth graft dan 2 kelompok diaplikasikan bovine graft selama 14 hari dan 30 hari. Jumlah sel osteoblas dihitung secara manual. Hasil: analisis data dengan uji statistik T test menunjukkan nilai yang tidak signifikan (p< 0,05) pada jumlah sel osteoblas pasca aplikasi tooth graft dan bovine graft pada hari ke-14 dan hari ke-30. Kesimpulan: Bahan tooth graft  dapat mempengaruhi jumlah sel osteoblas sama baiknya dengan bovine graft untuk perawatan pada tikus wistar pasca ekstraksi gigi.
