About the Journal

E-Prodenta Journal of Dentistry, is an Indonesian-language scientific periodicals published by the Faculty of Dentistry University of Brawijaya twice a year on every July and December. The submission process of manuscript is open throughout the year. All submitted manuscripts will go through the double-blind peer review and editorial review before being granted with acceptance for publication.

Designed as a medium of information and scientific knowledge, E-Prodenta Journal of Dentistry publishes numerous literatures, research articles, and case studies in the area of Dentist, Dent Healthy, Oral Biology, Biomaterials, Biomedical Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Pediatric Dentistry, Dental Public Health and Preventive Dentistry, Conservation and Endodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, Oral Pathology, Dental Radiology, as well as with their development through interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approach.

Initially published as PRODENTA Journal of Dentistry (ISSN 2337-3016) on Juner 1st 2013, the Journal was renamed as E-Prodenta Journal of Dentistry. In 2017, the magazine had its online published version by the name of E-Prodenta Journal of Dentistry, starting with Vol.1 No.1 an online version in accordance with the policy of LIPI.

Since 2017, Majalah Kedokteran Gigi Indonesia has been using Open Journal System requiring all writers to register in advance before they are allowed to upload the manuscript they write online. Afterwards, the editors, peer reviewers, and writers can monitor the manuscript processing.
