PERBEDAAN STABILITAS DIMENSI ANTARA HASIL PENCETAKAN POLIETER YANG DIPEROLEH MELALUI TEKNIK PENCAMPURAN MANUAL DAN PENCAMPURAN OTOMATIS

Abstract


Pencetakan merupakan tahapan terpenting dalam pembuatan gigi tiruan agar beradaptasi baik
pada jaringan penyangganya. Bahan cetak polyether memiliki stabilitas dimensi baik dan memberikan
detail cetakan akurat pada model kerja. Namun cara manipulasi bahan cetak merupakan faktor yang
berpotensi menimbulkan perubahan dimensi. Tujuan: mengidentifikasi perbedaan keakuratan dan
stabilitas dimensi linier pada model gipsum dari hasil cetakan polyether dengan pencampuran secara
manual (hand mixing) dan pencampuran otomatis (static automixing). Metode: 24 sampel model gipsum
(tipe 3) dibuat dari pengisian hasil cetakan (tanpa penundaan waktu) bahan polyether pencampuran
manual (n=12) dan otomatis (n=12). Pencetakan pada model master stainless steel yang menyerupai
lengkung rahang dengan 2 silinder di regio kaninus dan 2 silinder di regio molar pertama. Pengukuran
diameter ke-4 silinder dan jarak antar silinder dilakukan secara manual, hasilnya dibandingkan dengan
model master sebagai kontrol. Hasil: terdapat perbedaan dimensi linier rata-rata hasil pengukuran model
gipsum hasil cetakan polyether pencampuran manual dengan pencampuran otomatis. Uji Independen-T
menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (p<0,05). Kesimpulan: terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara
dimensi linier hasil cetakan polyether pencampuran manual dengan pencampuran otomatis. Keakuratan
dan stabilitas dimensi hasil cetakan polyether pencampuran otomatis lebih baik dibandingkan hasil
cetakan polyether dengan pencampuran manual.
